Saturday Night
Its saturday, everybody's shopping day! I woke up at 10 in the morning. YuenThern, my roomate overnight at his aunt's place. Which means my room only has 2 occupants which is me and my cousin,Ken. I lazed around, went online, and watched some Korean drama. Around 12, I was very hungry already so Ken decided that we should cook mushroom pasta(i think its called pasta, not sure what the Italians call it).
The ingredients were bought the night before while we were on our way back from Leicester Square. Ken fried some mushrooms and onions and of course with an amount of oil, boiled half a packet of macaroni, while my responsibility is to watch over him. HAHA! After that, he also heated up the mushroom sauce together with half a bottle of fresh milk and combine both together resulting in MUSHROOM PASTA ! Sounds yummy ? it is actually. But theres only one problem. I felt my stomach was overbloated just after eating 1/4 of my portion ! The cream and the milk really takes effect quick.
So alright, after lunch, Ken and I met up with Jack and KokWei and we went to Leicester Square(part of it is ChinaTown). But after walking to the nearby streets outside our accommodation, we stopped at a mobile retailer and bought myself a temporary simcard for a UK line. While doing so, KokWei's parents called and wanted to have a Skype session with him. So KokWei headed back, leaving Ken,Jack and I continuing out 'journey'.

Leicester Square: we stayed at ChinaTown for a short time only because its mainly 1 long street and 90% of that street are filled with Chinese restaurants. So, since we have nothing much to do at ChinaTown, we took some pictures.
The ChinaTown

Ken suggested that that night itself we should catch a musical show(such as MammaMia,PhantomOfTheOpera,SaturdayNightFever). In London, Leicester Square itself has at least 10 booths selling such musical tickets, and its quite pricy as well, and every booth has a reasonably long queue. Its sort of a tourist attraction for London. After attempting a few booths, we finally managed to buy 3 tickets for the show CHICAGO. The poster says that it was the sexiest musical show in London. haha. It costs us 16 whopping pounds for the last row tickets, which is the FAR END of the theatre and its already discounted. Some may be priced up to 75 pounds each !
The show starts at 8 and its only about 5. So, the 3 of us walked around Picadilly Circus, which is very much like the SungaiWang of KL. Oh man, that place is crowded with people. even on the streets its jam packed! Just to cross the street, we have no choice but to cut the queue by crossing somewhere a little further from the zebra crossing. We window shopped a little, and went for dinner before attending that show. Dined at ChaChaMoon, a HongKong noodle restaurant famous for their LoBakKou. I find that its really good and I can say that its much better than many restaurants in KL.
We hurried to the theatre as its already 7.15, our show starts at 8. We hurried to the tube and OMG again! People ! But no choice, we have to squeeze ourselves into the tube. We arrived just in time. Oh ya. For theatres, theres no such thing like in the cinemas. Once u are late, sorry, u can turn around and start walking back home. Its that strict.
I dont have to tell out the whole story of Chicago, you can purchase a cd of it and watch it yourself, but overall the act and storyline was of reasonable standard only. Not bursting and definitely not the best.
After the movie, we headed back home. and just about 500 metres before we reached our doorstep, it started RAINING ! The 3 of us ran quickly under the rain and by the time we reached, we were already soaking wet. So, immediately showered, and have a little supper in the kitchen and back to my room, chat with Kah Lee. Then went to sleep. One tiring day is over again. Phew!
