My Weekends

Its saturday evening now. Enjoyed my relaxation time in my room the whole day. Did nothing much. Was just in front of my laptop surfing, chatting, played games the whole time. Oh ya, just for your information, I had already picked up Shien from the Queensway tube station just few streets away from my hostel and he is sitting next to me right now enjoying his HannahMontana which is some gurly show to me.

This afternoon,I have ordered my new handphone via online,together with KokWei. Alas, among all the research and enquiries from Liang, I have found the ONE! Its a HTC Touch HD phone. More like a PDA with a Windows function. Cool! And its arriving on Wednesday. Here are some tease pics!






Many friends and family asked me how my Chinese New Year plan was coming up. When they asked me, I didnt realise that the Chinese New Year is THAT soon.Its only 2 days left! Monday is the first day of CNY. OMG. This is the first time in my life that I am not going to celebrate CNY with my family and friends. Ivan told me that they are going for a bbq night with everybody in the group. EXCEPT ME! Even my gf did joined them. Aiseh. Doesnt feel so 'happening' when u are on the other side of the world. Alone in my room when everybody is busy bbq-ing and laughing and snapping photos! Apa ni..

But anyways, ChunHowe did call me and made some arrangements with us for the first day of CNY. We planned to have a potluck whereby all of us prepare our own food(for those who doesnt know how to cook, TA PAO), gather around, and FEAST! So, if I did not miscounted anybody out, these are the list of people whom I am going to celebrate my new year with:

Hurray ! At least there are friends around-wont be soaked with boredom. Oh ya, ChunHowe did also plan with me to make a visit to the Science Museum nearby my area on Tuesday. You might be asking why would I to go such a boring place. Haha. Will I go if its gonna be boring ?
Theres gonna be something attractive enough to pull me over right ? Yeaps! Theres a Japanese green car exhibition held from Nov 08 until Sept 09! Hurray ! I am overly excited with that trip, so much so that when ChunHowe mentioned about that exhibition, I told him to immediately visit it the next day, but too bad, some of us cant make it. Which is why it is postponed to Tuesday.

Tommorrow I will be going to Tesco nearby to purchase the ingredients for cooking again. Most likely I am gonna prepare BakKutTeh for the potluck. Keeping my fingers crossed hoping that it would turn out, er, eatable. Haha

Well well. Today was my first day of class and guess what, its P2 ! the killer paper in the whole of ACCA part 3 ! The lecturer was nice and went really slow with us unlike Menon haha. He revised many of the F7 topics such as IAS 16,36,38 and 40. He's really a patient man. My p2 notes However, theres one thing which I dont really favor about London College Of Accountancy. There are more than 90% foreigners and most of them are dark skinned. Sorry, but I am not really touching on a racist topic around here.My point is that, the population of this college is so IMBALANCED! Everybody seemed to have their own groups, and we(me YuenThern,KokWei,Jack), as the minorities feel so small. I felt its quite difficult to get near them literally especially when we dont have a common topic or interest. It could probably be me having a wrong approach towards them or whatever. 50% done travelling

Harlo to everyone. As I am typing this entry, I am in my host's house using her internet. Just for your information, I am currently alright. Everything is fine. So far the trip was rather fun. However, there is only one problem. THE TRIP IS TAKING TOO LONG. Getting too tired with the activities already. This is my first time going for such a long period of travelling regardless of alone or with family. Argghh..When I am in London, I miss Malaysia. And now when I am in Germany, I miss London AND Malaysia! I will further update this entry as soon as I have more time. Bye for now.

Back On Track

Alright. My second term, 3 months of college has officially started(September)today. Went to class with a strong determination for one, because today was P2 class and we are about to learn the most interesting topic of all, and secondly, its been quite awhile since I last ate that delicious pasta chicken sold by the sandwich bar just around the corner. haha. A silly reason to be linked with my determination to go college. haha. Coincidentally, today was Jessica's birthday as well. So after class, all of us head towards ChinaTown for dinner at a an English restaurant. And subsequently, we went for movie as well - GI Joe : Rise of the Cobra. Honestly, I didnt enjoy that movie at all. It was truly disappointing having watched that show because before I went into the cinema, I was all excited about that show.
